Terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 - Scope of application

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the site www.basin.beoperated by Basin ChemEco SA (hereinafter "Basin"). Any contrary conditions on the part of the customer are expressly excluded, unless Basin has given its prior written consent. In the event of contradiction, the special conditions specified in the offer or order confirmation shall prevail.

Article 2 - Products on offer

Basin sells varnishes, oils, lacquers, glues and other technical products, mainly for wood treatment. Certain accessories and complementary materials may be sourced from third-party suppliers. All products comply with current Belgian and European legislation.

Article 3 - Pre-contractual information

Product sheets, visuals and technical documents are provided for information only. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the suitability of the products for his or her needs, in particular via the technical and safety data sheets available on request or as downloads. The customer is responsible for testing before use.

Article 4 - Prices

Prices shown on the site are in euros, excluding VAT and delivery charges, unless otherwise stated. Basin reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, particularly in the event of variations in production, raw material or transport costs.

Article 5 - Order and payment

Orders are validated upon receipt of payment. The customer receives a summary by e-mail. Payment is made via the secure means offered on the site. Any invoice not contested within 8 days of receipt is considered accepted.

Article 6 - Delivery

Products are delivered to the address indicated by the customer. Delivery times are indicative. In the event of delay or force majeure, no compensation may be claimed. The transfer of risks takes place as soon as the products are handed over to the carrier.

Article 7 - Reservation of ownership

Products remain the property of Basin until full payment has been received. The customer may not resell or process the products until full payment has been received.

Article 8 - Complaints and liability

The customer must check the products on receipt. Any complaint must be made within 10 days. After this period, the products are deemed to have been accepted. Basin declines all responsibility in the event of misuse, unsuitable storage conditions, or use in combination with other products.

Article 9 - Right of withdrawal

In the case of sales to consumers (individual customers), they have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the products, except for personalized or sealed products that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or safety.

Article 10 - Warranties

Basin guarantees the conformity of the products sold. In the event of a recognized defect, Basin's liability is limited to replacement of the product or reimbursement of its price, to the exclusion of any other compensation.

Article 11 - Intellectual property

All content on the site www.basin.be are protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

Article 13 - Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of Kortrijk are competent.
