BASIGROND 200 is a two-component epoxy primer specially designed for damp screeds. It acts as a barrier against residual moisture (up to 8 % CM), providing lasting protection for substrates. Used as a tack coat or waterproofing primer, it guarantees reliable application in demanding environments.

12 to 24 hours = time between 2 coats, 24 hours = application of parquet adhesive, 30 minutes = practical pot life (in summer, 8 to 12 hours = hardening time, high temperatures can considerably shorten pot life).

Apply BASIGROND 0200A+B at a rate of 250-300 g/m² using a long-haired roller. The surface should become uniform and glossy.
Sprinkle quartz sand (AD-0200) evenly over the still damp surface. This creates an anti-slip effect and enhances grip.
After 24 hours, brush off and vacuum off the excess sand, leaving only a clinging base.
For this use, apply 2 coats:1st coat: 200 to 300 g/m²Let dry for 12 to 24 hours before applying the second coat.
Apply a 2nd coat of approx. 200 g/m² and, before drying completely, sprinkle with 1 kg quartz sand per m² for perfect adhesion.
