BASIFON W is a water-based binder designed for the preparation of wood fillers based on sanding flour. Ideal for discreet, environmentally-friendly fillers, it creates a paste that perfectly matches the essence of the wood being treated. Solvent-free and NMP-free, this product is environmentally friendly and A+ certified for indoor air quality.

Make sure the wood is dry (humidity between 8 and 10 %), clean, sanded to P120 grit and free of grease or residue. Fill holes and cracks with the product, then sand again. A preliminary test is recommended before starting.
Use the putty only if the ambient temperature is between 12 and 25°C, to ensure the product sets properly.
Mix sanding flour with NC-0010 binder. If the mixture becomes too thick, add a little water. The mixture can be used for 30 to 40 minutes after mixing.
Fill in the areas to be filled generously, smoothing quickly. Be sure to remove excess filler from around the holes to avoid streaks when sealing.
After complete drying, the duration of which depends on temperature, humidity and hole size, sand the surface to smooth it. For better adhesion, lightly dampen excessively dry areas with a damp cloth before application.
