BASICOLL 270 is an aqueous dispersion adhesive specially designed for full-surface bonding of mosaic parquet and small formats. Its solvent-free formula ensures easy, user-friendly and environmentally-friendly application. Available while stocks last, it is an economical and efficient solution for traditional installation.

The substrate must be clean, dry, even, solid and free from grease, dust or loose particles. Ambient and floor temperatures must be between 15°C and 25°C, with relative humidity between 40 % and 60 %. It is essential that the premises are airtight and watertight, and that masonry and ceilings are completely dry. We recommend that you allow the adhesive to acclimatize in the room before use.
The parquet must be stored in the room for at least 48 hours before installation to stabilize its moisture content. This should be between 8 % and 11 % at the time of installation. For exotic woods with oily surfaces, we recommend degreasing the surface to be glued with acetone, then allowing it to dry completely before installation.
A peripheral expansion joint of 10 to 15 mm must be left between the walls and the parquet. This joint is ensured using suitable spacers placed around the perimeter of the room.
The adhesive should be applied evenly to the substrate using a suitable spatula. The quantity spread should not exceed what can be used within 10 to 20 minutes. The boards should be laid in the still-fresh adhesive, exerting sufficient pressure to crush the grooves and ensure complete, even bonding.
Excess fresh glue should be removed immediately with a clean cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Once hardened, the glue can be removed mechanically without leaving any traces on the parquet surface.
