Cellulose varnishes

Cellulose varnishes are nitrocellulose and organic solvent-based varnishes. They are easy to use. Although modern systems, such as polyurethane, acrylic, UV and water varnishes, were already introduced to the market, the cellulose varnishes are still frequently used. The nitrocellulose is also a natural product, which finds its origin in the core of the tree, the wood itself. The cellulose varnish of Basin is sufficient for normally used furniture and interior joinery. However, it is not resistant to a variety of liquids and they can damage the varnish. The cellulose varnish of Basin dries very quickly and gives the wood a warm character.
